Gatsometer
Traffic enforcement speeding traffic

Gatsometer is the world's leading supplier in digital traffic enforcement, with a range of fixed and mobile camera systems which offer versatile, yet secure vehicle enforcement solutions.

Gatsometer's commitment to research and development of digital technology is second to none, ensuring the highest system availability and prosecutability. It is Gatsometer’s aim to ensure that its systems operate night and day in the most rigorous conditions imaginable while capturing the highest-quality images that conform to equally rigorous security standards.

Aspect and Gatsometer promote the concept that system performance and reliability remain the highest goals, ensuring that the whole-of-cost or cost-per-infringement is reduced. Talk to Aspect about why Gatsometer systems are cheaper to run and have a lower cost per infringement over that of any other enforcement system.

All Gatsometer speed detection systems are interchangeable, modular, reliable and above all, properly integrated for secure operation.

Fixed applications

GTC-GS11
Gatso GTC-GS11

With GTC-GS11 you have the choice of either the Gatsometer GLD4-2S loop detector or Gatsometer's patented Loopless Tracking Radar (LTR) for fixed speed and red light detection. Both systems are approved by leading enforcement agencies around the world.

The GS11 is an eleven megapixel camera with Gatsometer's full 12-bit processing technology. This provides the clearest possible images of both the number plate and, if required, the driver of the vehicle, across six or more lanes of traffic.

RS-GS2
Gatso GTC-GS11

Specifically designed for overhead motorway or highway speed enforcement, Gatsometer's RS-GS2 with parabolic radar offers the highest prosecutability available today. Independent studies conducted by the Department of Justice in Victoria confirm system availability and prosecutability both consistently measured above 99%.

RS-GS2 is lane-specific and uses proven Gatsometer radar technology, in use throughout Victoria on several critical motorways and soon to be installed in other states in Australia.

It is now possible to capture the clearest images of speeding vehicles, with no occlusion and no vehicles missed, no matter how fast a vehicle is travelling. RS-GS2 can be used in front or rear-facing traffic to capture trucks or motorcycles as well as motor cars and is also approved for use in tunnel environments.

Aspect can also provide simultaneous image capture of both the front and rear of a speeding vehicle, enhancing prosecutability and ensuring all speeding vehicle licence plates are captured clearly and effectively.

Mobile and fixed applications

RS-GS11

Gatsometer RS-GS11 with slotted radar is simply the world's most popular mobile and fixed speed enforcement system. In Australia Gatsometer's slotted radar is still the most widely used mobile speed enforcement system.

The RS-GS11 eleven megapixel digital camera captures the highest quality images in diverse environmental and lighting conditions, providing unparalleled details of the vehicle and the driver too, if required .

The system is ideal for roadside operation (front and/or rear photography) and can be installed in a vehicle, mounted in a trailer or on a tripod. Licence plate characters from both reflective and non-reflective licence plates are captured with unsurpassed image clarity.
