Victoria's Department of Justice has awarded two new contracts to Aspect for the supply, installation and commissioning of forty enforcement camera systems.
Aspect was recently asked to supply, install and commission Gatsometer systems at thirty sites within a very short period of time – much tighter than ever achieved by Aspect or indeed by any other supplier. Aspect not only achieved the goal but completed additional work within the time set for this project.
TruckScan expanded with new ANPR facilities
Recently South Australia’s Department of Transport Energy and Infrastructure expanded its TruckScan point-to-point enforcement network, installing new sites, expanding others and adding new facilities within its state-wide network. Aspect supplied new automatic number plate recognition systems and soon expects to trial the new PIPS P382 ANPR system which will substantially lift capture and plate reading capability.
The current system already outperforms other ANPR systems throughout Australia and this new technology is expected to provide higher performance, be easier to install and be far more cost-effective.
