Speedar
Speedar is part of a range of hand-held radar speed meters, operating in the 24GHz band which measure and display the speed of approaching or receding vehicles. Speedar requires minimal training for any operator familiar with the basics of hand-held traffic enforcement.
Speedar incorporates features not normally found in current handheld radar systems. For instance, only Speedar shows you the direction of the target you are measuring. This means you can now use radar with confidence on roads with two-way traffic.
Speedvision
Speedvision integrates a high quality video camera and viewing screen with Speedar's proven radar system. This makes Speedar invaluable when recording speeding vehicles.
Speed and direction as well as date and time are both superimposed on a video image which may then be recorded with a standard video recorder or printed immediately on a video printer. Pressing the lock button not only locks the current speed reading, it also freezes the video frame so the image may be shown to offenders, if desired.
An infra-red version of the camera is also available so that video may be recorded at night or in low-light conditions.
Speedlog
Speedlog works by measuring vehicle speed and direction in the same way as Speedar. Speedlog reduces the time and effort required for traffic surveys by storing information about each target vehicle in an internal memory.
